They will have an opportunity to network with potential co-founders, like minded ambitious entrepreneurs, advisors, potential investors, learn about the funding process, understand what investors look for in a pitch and a business plan. Our mentors will teach the best practices, industry standards and frameworks of thought to help guide your Northstar.

1. Idea and intellectual property - The idea you are proposing should be patentable or protectable by copyright or trademark laws.

2. Success factors: What makes you believe that this idea will work? How is your idea different from competitors?

3. What is your general business experience in the area of your idea? Have you had any successes or failures in other ventures recently?

4. Have you formed a team to develop this venture and can you demonstrate that the team members have skills and expertise relevant to this new endeavor? Are they willing to invest their time, as well as money, in supporting your plan for success?

5. How is your market trending? Why is now a good time for your idea?

Competition for entry into this program is fierce, as such we are only able to take 25 startups into the program each year.
